Peter Krawagna (born 7 May 1937) grew up in Velden and learned the painting trade with his father after school. In 1953 he joined the Kunstschule Linz, where he studied with Herbert Dimmel until 1957 and the first landscapes were created. From 1957 to 1961 Krawagna studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Herbert Boeckl.
Krawagna lives and works in Krumpendorf on Lake Wörthersee.
