Sepp Schmölzer (Feldkirchen 1919 – 1999 Klagenfurt) completed his goldsmith’s apprenticeship in Klagenfurt, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Boeckl and Dobrowsky and worked as a goldsmith and silversmith from 1962.
Several times he led the goldsmith class at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg.
It is Carinthia’s most important contribution to modern jewellery art, participated in many exhibitions and fairs in Germany and abroad, where he has been awarded several times.
